VPS Setup
Step 1
Head to https://www.vultr.com and create a Vultr account.
Step 2
Once you have created your account, you will need to fund it to pay for a server.
Step 3
On the Products page, click the plus sign (+) to begin the purchasing sequence.

4a. Select the server of your choice. Cloud Compute should be sufficient in most cases.
4c. Select a server location. Typically the server location closest to your actual location is the best option to choose.
4d. Choose a server type. Debian (make sure the 11X64 version is selected) Older versions may not work. – Other operating systems may not work
4e. Choose a server size. The $5 per month server is sufficient options for most cases. You can always upgrade this at a later date.
4h. Give your server a logical hostname/label and click Deploy Now. This will begin the setup process for your server. It should only take 5–10 mins
Step 5
5a. Once the installation has finished and the status says Running under the Status column, on the "Products" page, you will see the different server instances you have started. Click on the name of the server (the name you chose during setup) and it will take you to the server Home Screen.
Copy the password by clicking the clipboard icon, to the right of the password
Step 7
7a. Paste the following command into the console using the same method you did for the password :
bash <(curl -s https://download.libertyblockchain.com/node-binaries/v2.6.1-b/linux.sh)
7b. Hide the toolbar by clicking the toolbar button
7c. Click ENTER to submit the above, pasted command
7d. For username, type the email to your Liberty Account, click ENTER
7e. For password, type the password to your Liberty Account and click ENTER (You will be prompted to enter your password for your Liberty account. Type in your password. *Please note, Vultr will not display your password but be assured it is being entered. Click Enter. **if you are struggling to enter your password correctly, open the clipboard feature in Vultr and enter the password in there so you can visualize it.)
7f. For node name, type whatever you'd like and click ENTER
7g. You should get a message that says "Liberty Configuration Complete"
*NOTE* Using the Snapshot feature through Vultr is not supported for running Liberty Nodes.
Congratulations!
Your Liberty node is now running
